Golden Birthdays...
When your Age matches your Birth-date.
Ever happened to hear about the concept of ‘Golden Birthdays?.’
It is something I came across to at the age of probably 10, while reading the Sunday magazine of a newspaper. It was a light and fun read, and it successfully attracted my attention for so many more years to come. Something that I could never get out of my mind up until this year.
Golden Birthdays are said to be lucky one and according to many people mentioned in that article, they happened to meet their Mr. or Miss Right on such an occasion. After Comet Halley, my Golden Birthday was what made me count years for the upcoming streaks of waiting. And this year, the wait was finally over.
Let me first tell you about what is that I am blabbering about.
Well, Golden Birthdays occur when the number of your Age is the same as the the Date of your Birth. For example: If I am born on 19 of any month, my Golden Birthday or the supposed ‘Lucky Day’ will happen when I will turn 19.
As I mentioned above, I had my Golden Birthday this year, and based on my years of faith and manifesting I have extended the period of this luck to the whole year and not just for a day. I am someone who firmly believe that you will get what you will think and that the power of your thoughts can make every Impossible, Possible.
Few days before the golden day, I sent my work to a Publication House who happened to find writers for their upcoming Anthology. And… I got accepted in it. My first ever venture of publishing my work in a book. Was that the supposed lucky thing? Probably yes… I don’t know to be honest. I just know that I purposely try to spend that day well, avoiding to do anything that could ruin that day.
All this while I got remembered of the youngest me, who while reading the newspaper was counting days. I wanted to find a way and run into her and tell her that. To be honest, I was expecting something bigger. But who knows, this could be the starting point of that something big?
Well… as I mentioned above, that for years I was manifesting for my whole golden birthday year to be the lucky one, so, I am looking forward to what this whole year holds for me.
With love to the 10 years old me. I am trying my best to make some lucky things happen for what you were trying to find a window to look ahead in the future, I hope with that achievement and luck, the eyes of your bigger version also twinkle just like the 10 years old you.
P.S. I am writing this a bit too late of my golden birthday, but the thing is I have been planning to write this weeks before the event.
